It is not safe to work behind a pipe plug. Despite careful testing and installation, it can still break down. The air pressure released in this case can cause serious injury. If you have to work behind a pipe plug, we can give you good advice on this.

The maximum temperature for a LANSAS pipe plug is -25℃ to 80℃, and for a flexible pipe plug is -40℃ to 60℃.

This depends on the back pressure, if there is no back pressure you can use a normal pipe plug.
If there is a lot of back pressure in the pipe, the best option is a BERAT plug. This is the safest option in our range and to make it even safer it is best to support this pipe plug.

You can!

These pipe plugs are made of Nitrile rubber. This means that the mechanical properties of Nitrile rubber remain intact, even in direct contact with oils and greases. These valves are therefore ideally suited for applications where tubes must be closed and the valves come into (direct) contact with oils or greases. With our SSTD case! The SSTD system can prevent accidents in sewers involving pipe plugs and/or risks with increased back pressure.

The SSTD safety case always registers the filling pressure of the connected pipe plug. In addition, the back pressure in the pipe behind the pipe plug can also be measured. If the pre-set limit values are exceeded, you will be warned via an SMS or e-mail. The safety case will also generate a visual/acoustic alarm. All values are automatically stored in the Cloud. This way, simple reports of each parameter can be generated.

For more information, see SSTD case.

You can also use a pipe plug in a smooth pipe. Bear in mind that the seal can then have less back pressure. There is a risk that it will "slip". It is therefore important to always prop it up safely.

They exist! We have flexible pipe plugs that can be used in various pipe profiles. A lightweight alternative can be these flexible pipe plugs. It is an innovative solution for sealing off large sewer pipes that are only accessible through a manhole. This type of flexible pipe plug is also available with a throughput or a bypass. See prices here Flexible pipe.

We see more and more that a pipe is relined.  We adapt our valves to this and also the disc plugs. For the available sizes, click here disc plugs fixed for round tube for relining .

We test the pipe plugs so that we know for sure that you can work with them safely and that they work properly.

Yes, we repair pipe plugs or provide a quote for a new pipe plug if it turns out that it cannot be repaired. Please feel free to contact us Contact.

We believe that everyone should be able to work safely with pipe plugs, so yes! We are happy to help you test and maintain your pipe plugs!  An annual inspection of PPE and work equipment is also quite normal, isn't it?
